 Novelty Searches
|
TDI provides Basic Mechanical and/or electrical Novelty Searches and Prior Art Searches for $300. Complex Mechanical/Electrical, Business Method, Internet Related or Software searches for $500. (Chemical searches are not currently being performed for $750.) All novelty searches are completed within 10 business days and are returned by priority mail. Call about specialized package prices.

Patent Drawings |
A typical price for Patent Drawings is $85.00/sheet
This price is reduced when electronic drawings or detailed sketches are provided. Minimum prices per sheet are $45. The cost for a single sheet has run as high as $200.00 for complex inventions. Prices for patent drawings vary based on the complexity of the invention and the number of figures required to fully describe the invention.
After reviewing the invention, and prior to initiating the drawing, we will provide a quote. Please know that there will be no surprises. We will not begin work until all your questions have been answered.

Patent Prosecution |
TDI will process your patent application and represent you before the patent office as your patent application is being reviewed. We provide detailed and persuasive responses to office actions. This is billed hourly at a minimum of $80/hour. A typical fee range might be $2,500-$5,000. For patent preparation and submission only, a fixed fee is available for as little as $500 depending on product complexity

Design Consulting |
TDI provides general design consulting for an hourly rate of $145/hr. Specialized product design services include product idea development, mechanism design, generation of mechanical drawings, brainstorming, new product research & development, new product analysis, human factors design, etc.
